Swift Alliance Cloud onboarding


Connect to the Swift network through Mambu Payments by subscribing to Swift Alliance Cloud. The onboarding process depends on your current relationship with Swift.

New Swift customers

Follow these steps if you do not have an existing Swift subscription and need to purchase your first BIC.

  1. Contact the Mambu Payments team to scope your requirements and get onboarding support.
  2. Sign up to Swift.com.
  3. Contact the Swift sales team to subscribe to Alliance Cloud.
  4. Complete Swift KYB verification.
  5. During the quotation process, specify Mambu Payments as your Swift Business Connect provider with partner BIC BCPXFR2D.
  6. Review the quote with your Swift account manager. You will receive an e-order form for Alliance Cloud. Enter the relevant quote ID.
  7. Once the order is complete, Swift provisions your Pilot (sandbox) environment the following weekend. In parallel, the Mambu Payments team provisions your Mambu tenant.
  8. Run end-to-end tests or bank homologations in the Pilot environment.
  9. When testing is complete, coordinate the go-live with the Mambu Payments team.

Existing Swift customers adding a new BIC

Follow these steps if you already have a Swift subscription and want to add a new BIC to use with Mambu Payments (for example, for a new country, branch, payment scheme, or use case).

  1. Contact the Mambu Payments team to scope your requirements.
  2. Inform your Swift account manager that you want to use Mambu Payments (partner BIC BCPXFR2D) as your Swift Business Connect provider for the new BIC.
  3. Follow steps 6–9 from the new customer process above.

Note: Your existing BICs remain linked to their current Swift infrastructure (on-premise Alliance Access, a separate Swift bureau, or another provider). Only the new BIC is routed through Mambu Payments.

Existing Swift customers migrating BICs to Mambu Payments

Follow these steps if you want to migrate one or more existing BICs from your current Swift infrastructure to Mambu Payments.

  1. Contact the Mambu Payments team to scope your requirements. The migration path depends on your current Swift infrastructure (on-premise Alliance Access, Swift bureau, or another Business Connect provider).
  2. The Mambu Payments team will define the migration steps based on your setup and coordinate with Swift on your behalf.
