Bank holidays

Bank holidays are days on which a clearing house (e.g., STEP2 or T2) does not process payments. Bank holidays vary by clearing house. Refer to your clearing house for their official bank holidays schedule.

Direct participants to clearing houses must ensure they do not send payment instructions on bank holidays. Mambu Payments automatically calculates value dates based on:

• Cut-off times
• Weekends
• Bank holidays

Configuring bank holidays

To configure bank holidays:

1. Go to Settings > Connectivity > Bank holidays
2. Click on Add bank holiday
3. Add a bank holiday with:
   1. A name, date, and timezone
   2. The clearing bank or clearing house it applies to
4. Click on Save bank holiday
