Overview

Mambu Payments handles payment rails (bank connectivity, scheme files, message routing). Mambu Core handles the ledger (booking transactions on loan accounts). By connecting the two, you automate the complete loan lifecycle, from disbursement through to multi-channel repayment collection.

Supported workflows

Workflow	Description
Disbursement	Automates payment order execution and books the disbursement transaction in Mambu Core.
Repayment by direct debit	Retrieves upcoming installments from the Core repayment schedule and generates outgoing SEPA or BACS direct debit collections.
Repayment by credit transfer	Monitors connected accounts or virtual IBANs. When a transfer is matched to a loan, triggers a repayment entry in Mambu Core.
Repayment by card	Leverages payment captures and card settlement files to book repayment transactions in Mambu Core.
