Using the sandbox

Use the Numeral sandbox to develop, test, and validate your API integration

The sandbox environment is a safe playground. It is not connected to your bank accounts and can be safely used to develop and test your integration. It is pre-loaded with sample data.

Connecting to the sandbox

Once you have received your API key, you can connect to the sandbox using your favorite IDE or Postman. You can also connect to the sandbox, make API requests, and receive responses directly from the API docs by simply passing your API key in the Authentication field of any API endpoint page.

Events and webhooks

Events will be created as you create and approve payment orders with Numeral. Add a webhook to Numeral to receive events in your application.

Payment order execution

Because the sandbox environment is not connected to an actual partner bank, payment orders will stop at status sent. The full lifecycle of a payment order gives you indications of possible statuses, status transitions, and corresponding events. You can also use the Numeral bank simulator to simulate messages received from partner banks and move payment orders from sent to executed or rejected statuses.
